At the Joint Powers Board meeting held Thursday, April 10, 2008, the Board adopted the rates for 2008-09. The rates for the PPO medical plans will remain the same as established for the 2007-08 fiscal year. The dental plans and vision plans will also remain at the 2007-08 level. The HDHP medical plans will be decreased by five percent. The Kaiser rates will be increased as quoted by Kaiser with increases of 6.4 percent for the active and early retiree High and Low plans, 3.2 percent for the Medicare High plan and no increase for the Medicare Low plan.
