PROPERTY/CASUALTY PROGRAM
Tri-County Schools Insurance Group's Property/Casualty Program was established in 1983 and Wells Fargo Insurance Services, USA, Inc. is TCSIG's consultant and claims administrator.
The 2008-2009 fiscal year program:
- Comprehensive General Liability coverage per Ed Code and Government Code up to $25 million per occurrence.
- Wrongful Acts coverage for board members, administrators, volunteers and employees
- Auto coverage for District owned, non-owned and hired automobiles
- Physical coverage to replacement value for buildings and equipment
- Boiler and Machinery comprehensive coverage for damages up to $100 million per accident.
- Purchase Liability insurance through General Reinsurance Corporation for losses great than $250,000 up to $5 million
- Purchase Property insurance through St. Paul Travelers for losses greater than $100,000 to replacement value.
- Member of Schools Excess Liability Fund (SELF) JPA for liability losses from $5 million to $25 million.
INSURANCE COVERAGE WITHIN TCSIG:
- District Responsibility - $0 for Liability, $500 for Property
- JPA Self-Insured Layer (Deductible Fund) - Liability to $250,000, Property to $100,000
- General Reinsurance Corporation $250,000 to $5 Million for Liability
- St. Paul Travelers - $100,000 to Replacement Cost for Property
- Schools Excess Liability Fund (State-wide JPA) $5 Million to $25 Million
