July 2021 - Wellness Center COVID-19 Update
Dear TCSIG Members,
To minimize the risk of exposure and spread of Covid-19 in our facility, all unvaccinated patients wanting to enter the TCSIG Wellness Center will be required to have a rapid antigen test performed. Once your test comes back negative, you will be able to enter the clinic. If you have a positive test result, one of the providers will instruct you on how to proceed.
To accommodate the new Covid testing policy, we request patients arrive at the clinic 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. You may notify our staff you are outside by either using the check-in link “I have arrived” feature or by calling our office staff at 530-822-5500. This test will be valid for one week and will need to be repeated after one weeks’ time should you need to revisit the clinic.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we work together to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all TCSIG members.
For more information on the Covid vaccine and your options, ask one of our friendly wellness center providers.
Sincerely,
Your Wellness Team
10-13-2020 - Wellness Center COVID-19 Update
Dear TCSIG community, as we all strive to minimize the risk of exposure and transmission of COVID-19 in our local communities, our wellness team has made some changes to how we provide patient services and schedule patient appointments. Minimizing the risk of exposure requires us to practice social distancing. Although we are still recommending virtual office visits for most appointments, we have resumed routine wellness and acute care visits in-office.
For in-office appointments, we ask our patients to refrain from entering the clinic and call to reschedule your appointment if you have any symptoms or known exposure to COVID-19. All patients should be advised there is mandatory risk-assessment screenings and temperature checks prior to entering the clinic for an appointment. For virtual office visits, providers are available to provide Telemedicine appointments by phone and through a virtual face-to-face TeleVisit. Please see the TeleVisit section of the website for information and instructions regarding this service. For patients who require an in-office appointment or lab draw, a prescription pickup, or other inquiry not listed, we ask that you remain in your car and refrain from entering the clinic. Please call clinic staff at (530) 822-5500 and we will assist you further. Patients who are brought into the clinic by our staff will be required to wear a facial covering. Personal facial coverings are encouraged, but will be provided to you by our staff if you do not have one available.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. We are all in this together and we thank you for helping us do our part to reduce the community transmission of COVID-19. We are focused on the health and well-being of our patients and their families, our staff, and our entire community.
