Safety National has two de-escalation vendors they have partnered with: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and ProAct.  They both focus on de-escalation but have different philosophies of the approach and audience.  Discount pricing is available.

• Focuses on verbal de-escalation but also addresses physical techniques to reduce injuries in the event of physical contact. 

• Broader target audience extends from staff & teachers up to security and School Resource Officers (SROs).

• Has more proactive, preventative approach to the assault cycle.  It focuses on prevention and de-escalation during the verbal exchanges which often precede violence. It is a hands-off approach.
